The label UCI Golden Bike was created in 1999 to encourage the cyclists to live their passion outside the borders of their country and to make them discover so new horizons, so sports as cultural.
The naming UCI Golden Bike is a seal of quality which the International Cycle Union attributes to the best events of cycling for all.
